Double Chin / Submental Fullness

Lenzie Clinic are delighted to offer our double chin treatment using our safe and high tech Onda Coolwaves.

Treatment

A double chin, also known as submental fullness, is a common concern that affects both men and women, regardless of weight. It can be genetic, or influenced by posture, weight changes, and reduced skin elasticity.

Onda Coolwaves uses electromagnetic currents to accelerate the metabolism of fat cells, making them sweat and break down. This device also encourages collagen reorganisation to lift and tone the chin.

Our technology is non-invasive, comfortable and supports natural-looking results with no downtime required.

Does it hurt?

You will feel a comfortable heat generated in the treatment area, however you will not experience pain.

How much does it cost?

The cost per treatment session is $350. We recommend 3 to 6 treatments for best results, spaced 4 weeks apart.

How long is the treatment?

The treatment lasts around 10 to 12 minutes, however, allow time for progress photos and positioning, bringing the appointment time up to 30 minutes.

When will I see results?

You will notice results straight away, but you’ll see the full benefit of the treatment six weeks following your appointment.

It is important to note that this treatment must go hand in hand with a healthy diet and exercise to be successful.

Can anyone have treatment?

Onda Coolwaves is safe for most people, however it must be delayed if:

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have had surgery in the area to be treated within 6 months
  • You are taking anti-inflammatory, or anticoagulant medication
  • You have an outbreak of a chronic skin condition, such as psoriasis or acne, in the area to be treated

We cannot use our Onda Coolwaves device on those with:

  • Tattoos in the area to be treated
  • Cardiac insufficiency or disorders
  • Severe vascular diseases
  • Heart implants/pacemakers, transplanted organ, deep brain stimulation implant
  • Neoplasia (abnormal growth of tissue) in progress, or in the past 5 years
  • Kidney or liver failure/dysfunction
  • Phlebitis or thrombophlebitis
  • Infectious diseases (especially Hepatitis B and C)
  • Clotting disorders
  • Plates or screws in the area to be treated
  • Uncontrolled diabetes, type 1 or 2
  • Recognised sensitivity to the device
